The kitchen is best known for its birria — slow-braised shredded beef served in crispy tortillas with melted cheese and a cup of rich consommé for dipping (quesabirria). The Pizzabirria has become a cult favorite. Tacos come on handmade corn tortillas with the traditional accompaniment of onion and cilantro, and the salsa bar adds a personalized touch to every meal.
The menu runs deep: beyond tacos, there are classic tortas, sopes, flautas, tlayudas, chilaquiles, and a full La Morenita plates section covering everything from carne asada and carnitas to pozole, menudo, and beef ribs. The mariscos (seafood) menu is equally impressive — from shrimp cocktails and aguachile to the showstopping Mariscada La Morenita platter with crab legs, spicy shrimp, garlic shrimp, and fried tilapia.

This is the best I've had! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place for the best birria tacos. We had the birria taco pizza, nachos, and fajitas, and loved every single dish. We'll definitely be back with friends!
From the moment I sat down the service was terrific — the food is familiar but original with bright flavors! I loved the homemade corn tortillas with the tacos and the salsa bar. I'll be a regular when I visit Auburn.
